A little about me

On my 7th birthday my dad offered me a Spectrum 48K. After the initial enthusiam by it's games, I've decided to develop my own games. Since then I've realized what I wanted to do for the rest of my life :). My first contact with web development occured in '96 when I was taking the Computer Science degree course on Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto. So the first thing I've done was my personal site and also a discussion forum about programming.

Nowadays I have a wide experience in web development, fluent in several programming languages like (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, VB.Net, C#, PHP, ActionScript (Flash) among others. Besides programming I've also acquire some design abilities that makes me able to perform creative and functional works following standard design rules.

But my professional experience has not always been tied to I.T. In '94 on a local radio (Rádio Clube do Funchal) I've fulfilled an old wish of mine: Became a radio DJ.

I love music from a wide range of genres, from radio pop to the great masters simphonies. Although my favourite genre, for now, is electronic music.
